Hey there !!

 

I am Julie a 39 year old craft obsessed lady from Perth AUSTRALIA.

Married to my hubby for 12 years and mum to a beautiful 10 year old girl.

My love affair with sewing began from a young age. I remember my favourite thing to do when I visited my nan was go through her drawers of fabrics and imagine in my head the things that they could become. She would often let me pick the fabric for her current project and I was in awe of the process of creating something from a mere piece of cloth.

 

Crafting is in my blood. Both of my grandmothers were keen sewers, my grandma was able to do almost anything she set her mind to. Her house was littered with tapestries on frames, beading and cross stitch, quilts and crochet blankets which my daughter still has on her bed to this day. 

 

When I grew up i brought my first trusty Janome which I spent many an hour and a lot of choice language learning to use and the rest is history.

These days I have expanded my love of sewing to quilting, machine embroidery and various other crafty pursuits which keep me sane.
